Highlighting Diversity in Agile
As a member of this agile community, your voice, your background, and your experience are part of the driving force that leads to the transformative, dynamic, and disruptive solutions agilists come up with every day. As part of amplifying voices historically underrepresented in agility, Scrum Alliance is committed to cultivating inclusivity and diversity in the spaces we create. As part of that commitment, we've partnered with Women in Agile and Agile in Color to amplify essential perspectives at the New Orleans gathering.
Agile in Color is an initiative that creates spaces for and spotlights global POC coaches, trainers, and thought-leaders in the agile community. At the gathering, Agile in Color is featuring three lightning talks from agile trailblazers. Learn more about Agile in Color and the lightning talks here.
Women in Agile is a nonprofit that encourages and empowers women in the agile community. At Global Scrum Gathering New Orleans, they have a program called Launching New Voices. Prior to the event, women from the agile community applied and were accepted to the program, where they were mentored and given the opportunity to present at the gathering. Here, you can learn more about Women in Agile and their efforts in NOLA.
